Croatian defender Lek Kcira helps his Steel Azin escape defeat holding Pas FC 2 - 2 at the Shahid Dastgerdi Stadium in the capital Tehran.

Pas, coached by Ali Asghar Modir Rousta, dominated the match from the outset and took an early lead when Hadi Asghari scored the opener after just four minutes on Thursday afternoon.

The visitors doubled the lead through Majid Gholamnejad in the 38th minute of the game.

Hamid Estili's men pushed forward in the second half and reduced the deficit when captain Ali Karimi converted a penalty in the 52nd to score his 11th goal this season.

Pas was reduced to ten men after striker Saber Mirghorbani was sent off the pitch with a red card in the 73rd.

The hosts then dominated the game until finally the 26-year-old Kcira netted the equalizer from a corner three minutes from time.
